Summary
Join Modern Life, a well-funded technology company, as our Director of Strategic Growth. Reporting to the VP of Strategic Growth, you will prospect high-end advisors, firms, and institutions. You will actively recruit top-level advisors, selling Modern Life's value proposition and vision. This role requires a successful sales leader with experience in life insurance brokerage and a strong network of high-performing advisors. The ideal candidate will be excited to embrace new technology and make an impact on improving an advisor's life insurance business. Base salary is $100,000 - $135,000 with an OTE of $225,000 - $275,000.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring licensed insurance roles
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiating skills
Responsibilities
- Actively recruit top-level advisors and firms to Modern Life by selling the ML value proposition, vision and industry impact
- Outbound prospecting and networking to find high-end advisors, firms and institutions
- Field inbound leads
- Attend industry events (as needed)
- Represent the advisor business internally on matters of product development, market alignment and refinement of the product portfolio (including ancillary options such as lending services for PF)
- Onboard all new advisors
- Negotiate terms such as advisor compensation and service offerings
- Solicit partnership opportunities such as national and enterprise accounts
Preferred Qualifications
- Life insurance brokerage experience
- Strong network of high-performing insurance/financial advisors
