Strategic Marketing Manager

Summary

Join GenScript's ProBio team as a Strategic Marketing Manager, contributing to the company's strategic business lines. This role involves conducting independent market research, analyzing market segments, benchmarking competitors, and identifying client needs. You will be responsible for predicting technological advancements, analyzing business models, and providing valuable insights to guide long-term strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the biotechnology industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and mentor team members.

Requirements

• Qualification: MSc, PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, immunology, or related biological science fields
• Work Experience: MSc with at least 8 years of work experience, or PhD with at least 4 years of work experience in biotech industry
• Self-motivated, excellent logic, great communication skills
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• To understand the business capabilities in GenScript, as well as its business strategies
• To investigate the market’s current status, future development trend and the driving force behind it
• To draw benchmark companies’ map, understand its strategy, business model and predict its future development roadmap
• To dig clients’ demand and pain points, as well as to discover potential business opportunities
• To continuously follow the market intelligence of biotechnology field and its innovation
• To familiarize with various business models in biotech industry
• To be able to provide valuable business strategy opinions to the executive management team and business line managers
• To formulate and optimize market research workflow and methodology
• To coach or even lead other team members of the department for job excellence
• To complete other tasks requested by the superior

Preferred Qualifications

• An MBA degree would be plus
• Experience in Marketing/Antibody Engineering would be plus
• Being able to speak Mandarin will be a plus
