Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in business development, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscape
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of business metrics

Responsibilities

  • Partnership Development: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including existing & potential partners, clients, and industry influencers
  • Provider Channel Expansion: Identify and explore new market opportunities, including other partners in health tech, BPOs, and organizations influencing emerging industry trends
  • Revenue Generation: Oversee the development of new business opportunities and revenue streams
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and hire (when needed) the business development team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability
  • Collaboration with Executive Team: Collaborate with the CEO, COO, and other executives to align business development efforts with overall company strategy
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Lead the negotiation and management of key contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business development initiatives
  • Innovation and Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices. Drive innovation within the business development function to enhance the company’s competitive edge and operational efficiency
