Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in business development, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscape
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of business metrics
Responsibilities
- Partnership Development: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including existing & potential partners, clients, and industry influencers
- Provider Channel Expansion: Identify and explore new market opportunities, including other partners in health tech, BPOs, and organizations influencing emerging industry trends
- Revenue Generation: Oversee the development of new business opportunities and revenue streams
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and hire (when needed) the business development team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability
- Collaboration with Executive Team: Collaborate with the CEO, COO, and other executives to align business development efforts with overall company strategy
- Contract Negotiation and Management: Lead the negotiation and management of key contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business development initiatives
- Innovation and Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices. Drive innovation within the business development function to enhance the companyβs competitive edge and operational efficiency
