Summary
Join our client, a financial services start-up, as their new Talent Advisor! This remote role (with occasional travel to downtown Toronto) offers end-to-end ownership of the recruitment process, from strategy to execution. You'll build and refine processes, collaborate with a supportive team, and contribute to strategic decisions, including the selection of a new ATS. Requirements
- A Passion for Recruitment. You bring end-to-end recruiting experience across organizations of varying sizes, ideally with national reach. Whether collaborating within a team or working independently, you are strategic and hands-on in attracting and retaining top talent
- The Business Acumen. You are naturally curious and have a proven ability to understand new technologies and business concepts quickly. You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments, and your process-driven mindset is supported by exceptional organizational and prioritization skills
- The Interpersonal Skills. You tailor your approach to different audiences with ease. You have a talent for building and nurturing relationships at all levels and know how to listen and build trust actively
- The Project Management. You are a self-starter who takes ownership of projects, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders with urgency. You consistently deliver high-quality results while maintaining focus and efficiency. You have a keen eye for detail and the flexibility to solve problems analytically and creatively. Responsibilities
- Own the End-to-End Recruitment Process. You will oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from partnering with hiring managers to craft compelling job postings, sourcing candidates through various channels, conducting interviews, and facilitating offers. As the first point of contact for candidates, you will foster trust and engagement by maintaining open and transparent communication throughout the hiring process
- Build Strategic Partnerships. You will collaborate with business leaders and hiring managers to understand their unique hiring needs and align recruitment strategies with organizational goals. By providing innovative and practical solutions, you will support the company’s growth objectives while offering regular updates to manage expectations
- Advance HR Initiatives. You will contribute to HR initiatives, focusing on enhancing talent acquisition and onboarding practices. As needed, you will collaborate with the broader HR team to support other HR areas, helping to create an exceptional employee experience
- Drive Recruitment Innovation. You will advocate for and implement programs to improve talent attraction and acquisition, emphasizing DEI, employer branding, candidate engagement, and operational excellence. Your proactive approach will help the company stay ahead in a competitive talent market
- Manage and Analyze Recruitment Data. You will track and report on key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and pipeline status. Your insights will guide the leadership team in refining processes and achieving data-driven improvements
- Enhance Candidate Experience. You will create a seamless and positive candidate experience, ensuring each touchpoint reflects the company’s values and commitment to excellence. You will go beyond transactional recruitment to build meaningful, long-term relationships with candidates
- Embrace Continuous Learning. You will immerse yourself in the company’s values, business strategy, and industry landscape to continuously enhance recruitment processes. Staying informed on emerging trends and best practices, you will bring fresh ideas to support the company's evolving needs
- Leverage Technology and Tools. You will effectively utilize applicant tracking systems, HRIS, and advanced sourcing tools to manage workflows, streamline processes, and deliver exceptional results

Experience working in an entrepreneurial or high-growth environment would be an asset
