Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in the media and marketing strategy
- 7+ years management experience
- Deep pharma experience across diverse set of disease states and audiences
- Strong data-driven background
- Proven client relationship experience, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to understand the clientโs business and bring strategic business thinking to lead team to develop the most effective media, audience, and data strategy in partnership with the cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to communicate in all channels effectively and handle difficult situations among team and/or client with tact and professionalism
- Experience leveraging complex modeling and advanced analytics to understand channel impact and ROI; knowledge of statistical significance and ability to communicate relative confidence and risk levels
- Robust understanding of the strategic value of strong data and analytics and how to commercially leverage data and analytics
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
- Understanding of emerging technology and latest trends to drive innovation
- Advanced understanding across client verticals of media strategy, goal setting, and channel selection
- Proven ability to build cohesion among cross-functional teams, build strong internal partnerships to improve ways of working, develop capabilities, and drive innovation
- Strong leadership and team development skills, with experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic partner to key stakeholders, advising on the use of media engagement and analytics to drive business objectives and decisions
- Drive adherence to organic growth roadmaps and business plans
- Represent the agencyโs media and analytics capabilities in new business opportunities and industry events
- Develop and support thought-leadership involving media, data, and analytics both internally and externally
- Build cohesive partnerships with cross-functional counterparts across agency to identify, support, and develop opportunities for organic growth, new capabilities, and innovation
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure strategic alignment of deliverables with client needs
- Serve as point of escalation for client concerns and drive solutions to address needs
- Develop and foster a solution-oriented mindset across the team
- Lead media and data and analytics teams in engagements with clients to deliver ROI
- Monitor team pacing and work with team leaders to ensure profitability on client accounts
- Manage staffing plans to ensure resources are structured to support client needs and achieve agency objectives
- Partner with technology teams to develop and deploy machine learning models and AI-driven solutions to address specific challenges faced by our clients
- Stay updated with the latest trends, best practices and advancements in media, data, and AI
- Ensure teams understand and utilize industry best practices across media and data
- Ensure strategic lens is applied to media plans, performance reports, dashboards, and models leveraging actionable insights
- Actively listen to and resolve issues to support teams, removes barriers, and drive performance
- Lead overall performance management across teams, including goal setting and reviews
- Mentor and develop team leaders, fostering a culture of inclusion, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Partner with team leaders on staff development and team training needs
