System Engineer

Summary

Join Nagarro, a rapidly growing digital product engineering company, as a Senior Linux Consultant. In this role, you will plan, design, and install applications and Linux systems for diverse customer projects. You will also support the operation and development of existing systems and applications, manage Linux releases and patches, and contribute to independent projects. This position requires proven experience with Enterprise Linux environments and a relevant IT qualification. Strong problem-solving skills and fluent German are essential.

Requirements

• Have completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or a comparable qualification
• Have gained experience with Enterprise Linux environments
• Have a keen interest in the operation of customer systems and applications, as well as in familiarizing yourself with new topics such as automation
• Possess solution and process-oriented thinking and a confident manner towards customers
• Speak fluent German (C1) and good English

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and install applications and Linux systems in customer projects
• Support the operation and further development of existing Linux systems and applications
• Operate standard applications and customer developments in a technical environment
• Be involved in Linux release and patch management
• Carry out various other topics in independent projects

Preferred Qualifications

Have experience with DB2, Oracle or other database solutions
