Join cargo.one, a fast-growing Series B company revolutionizing the air freight and logistics industry, as a Remote Talent Acquisition Specialist. You will play a key role in shaping the company's future by building high-performing teams through innovative sourcing and recruitment strategies. You will work closely with senior leadership and hiring managers to architect hiring strategies, influence hiring decisions, and ensure the company hires the right talent at the right time. You will also be responsible for optimizing remote hiring processes, building strategic talent pipelines, leveraging data to drive hiring effectiveness, and supporting People team projects. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of recruitment experience, ideally in a mix of agency and fast paced in-house recruitment
  • Previous experience in a high growth start-up, scale-up or tech company
  • Experience of having recruited top talent in multiple locations
  • A proactive, independent, and self-motivated approach, with the ability to manage multiple hiring processes at once and deliver exceptional results
  • Growth mindset, high drive and willingness to be scrappy, work with ambiguity and adapt
  • Confidence and experience in coaching and working with hiring managers at various seniority levels
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, balancing hiring needs with a seamless candidate experience
  • A data-driven mindset, using insights and hiring metrics to continuously refine and improve processes
  • Creative, candidate-centric approaches to sourcing and selection
  • Fluent English, in both verbal and written forms

Responsibilities

  • You will work with senior leadership and hiring managers to architect our hiring strategy and own high-impact searches, shaping the teams that define the future of our company
  • You'll influence hiring decisions at the highest levels and build scalable recruitment processes that fuel our growth
  • You’ll ensure we hire the right talent at the right time to support our business growth
  • Acting as a trusted partner to our leadership team and hiring managers, you will ensure you fundamentally understand the business and synthesize that with your subject matter expertise to bring hiring strategies that accelerate team performance and long-term company success
  • Your insights on market trends and talent data will help shape our workforce planning
  • You own our hiring practices and coach hiring managers on hiring practices and interview techniques as we grow globally, always aiming for best in class
  • Bringing creativity and innovation to sourcing:  you’ll actively find and attract the best talent with innovative approaches and guide them through an exceptional candidate journey
  • Optimising a remote-first hiring approach that will set industry standards for hiring remotely
  • Building strategic talent pipelines by engaging with universities, industry groups, and communities to proactively attract and retain top talent
  • Leveraging data to drive hiring effectiveness and decisions, including maintaining and monitoring KPIs
  • Driving pre-onboarding processes and beyond, ensuring new hires have a smooth transition into the company
  • Supporting People team projects, streamlining processes, and implementing new tools to enhance hiring efficiency and scalability
  • You will be a key voice in shaping our employer brand and talent positioning, ensuring we attract world-class talent
  • Your ideas will directly influence how we market ourselves to candidates and retain top performers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Ashby (ATS)
  • Experience working with distributed teams
  • A degree in business, psychology, or a related field (e.g., business or organizational psychology)
  • Fluent German, both written and verbal
