Summary

Join Trax as a Talent Acquisition Specialist and contribute to their global recruiting efforts, focusing on contract hires across various functions and departments. This fully remote position, available only to applicants residing in Central America and Mexico, requires you to manage the full recruiting cycle, including sourcing candidates, planning interviews, and assessing applications. You will be responsible for developing long-term recruiting strategies, maintaining a pipeline of potential candidates, and collaborating with hiring managers to define selection criteria. This role demands strong communication skills, experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and the ability to work independently and manage multiple job requisitions simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, ideally with a mix of internal and agency experience, with a focus on software engineering staffing
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks (e.g. Stack Overflow,  Github, SeekOut, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A solid understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations
  • Ability to work on roles with ambiguous requirements
  • Ability to work independently and fast-paced on multiple job requisitions at the same time
  • Fluent in English

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify hiring needs
  • Determine candidate selection criteria with hiring managers
  • Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
  • Assess candidate information, including resumes/CVs and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System
  • Help craft job descriptions and structured interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
  • Assist in employer branding initiatives
  • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
  • Create and present TA Metrics to HR Lead Team
  • Conducts research, reporting analysis and special projects as requested

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Communications, or a related field
  • Experience recruiting on a global scale is a big plus
