Summary

Bynder is seeking a dynamic Technical Product Owner (TPO) to join their Platform Storage team. The TPO will manage the product backlog, develop user stories, align projects with strategic objectives, and serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience in Digital Asset Management or scaled SaaS-based software solutions is a plus.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ professional experience as a Technical Product Owner or Development Manager
  • Technical background as software developer or computer science degree
  • Experience developing requirements for platform software teams, following Agile best practices
  • Good understanding of (software and application architecture, distributed systems, underlying infrastructure, data storage and flows)

Responsibilities

  • Backlog Management: Maintain and develop the product backlog, ensuring regular refinement and prioritization in alignment with strategic objectives and technological developments
  • User Stories: Develop user stories and define clear, actionable acceptance criteria
  • Team Alignment: Collaborate with other teams in the Engineering organization to align projects, their releases and any dependencies with the overall product strategy and corporate goals
  • Stakeholder Engagement: As part of a highly technical team you will be the primary contact for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication about product functionalities, development progress, and business needs
  • Technical Liaison: Translate complex technical details for non-technical stakeholders and make sure technical challenges are incorporated into decision-making processes
  • Sprint Planning and Review: Participate in all sprint lifecycle phases, including planning, retrospectives, and reviews. Ensure the team’s work aligns with prioritized backlog items
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators to track product success and guide future development
  • Continuous Improvement: Encourage continuous improvement within the team, promoting innovative and efficient solutions to technical challenges. Plan and prioritize the product feature backlog and development

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Cloud services specifically AWS
