Technical Program Manager

Summary

Join Visa's Commercial and Money Movement Solutions Product Development (CMS PD) team as a Technical Program Manager! Lead the PMO for a Team of Teams (ToT), overseeing Agile execution and delivery of product development initiatives. Ensure seamless planning, prioritization, and execution across multiple teams. Provide oversight and governance on all initiatives, collaborating with product and engineering teams. This critical role drives the success of FY25 and beyond objectives and milestones for the product & technology roadmap. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with expertise in Agile methodologies, cross-functional team leadership, and technology program management. This is a remote position.

Requirements

• English fluency is required
• 5+ years of work experience in technical program management or software development with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience is required
• Proficiency in Agile Lifecycle Management tools (Jira, Jira Align, Rally) and PPM tools (Clarity, Primavera, HP PPM etc.) is required
• Scaled Agile Certification (SAFe for Teams, Leading SAFe, Implementing SAFe, SAFe for Release Train Engineers) is required
• Experience with project management and reporting tools (e.g., Clarity, Rally, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, JIRA etc.) is required
• Experience with productivity and collaboration tools, including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Wiki pages, Microsoft 360 copilot etc. is required

Responsibilities

• Oversee and govern the delivery of all initiatives within the portfolio
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless and timely planning, prioritization, and execution
• Be hands-on with the tools used in planning, execution, and reporting for Agile/Scrum delivery
• Be well-versed in industry best practices for Agile execution in an enterprise setting
• Build bridges and tunnels across Visa to ensure initiatives are effectively conceived, elaborated, prioritized, designed, developed, tested, integrated, and deployed with quality and on-time delivery
• Ensure that things get done and display a drive to get things done, possess a can-do attitude, a growth-oriented mindset, a process-focus and an ability to deal with ambiguity
• Be technology literate and willing to learn new technologies, optimize processes, implement efficiencies, multi-task, and manage through influence
• Manage complex and matrixed collaboration, data analysis, problem-solving, process & data-driven decision making, change management, and communication across global time zones

Preferred Qualifications

• Program management professional (PgMP) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications are preferred
• Experience with JIRA Align, Tableau, and Power BI is preferred
• Experience with project management techniques, software development lifecycle in a Fin-Tech background, scrum, or agile experience is preferred
• Experience with productivity and collaboration tools, including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Wiki pages, Microsoft 360 copilot etc. is preferred
• Experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence/Machine learning to improve the effectiveness of product delivery is preferred
