Requirements

  • Ability to lead meetings, set action items, and keep owners accountable for their action items
  • Skilled at building detailed plans for software development projects, ensuring the relevant items, dependencies, and risks are identified, even with limited input
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good at understanding and communicating technical topics and issues at a high level
  • Outstanding organizational skills including ability to prioritize tasks efficiently with high level of attention to detail
  • Problem solver
  • Passionate about seeking ways to improve processes
  • Ability to deal with multiple projects
  • A university degree with strong preference towards a software engineering background
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with strong preference towards experience in a software and medical industry. Or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years experience
  • Understanding of and experience with Agile development at scale

Responsibilities

  • Help facilitate releases for involved projects
  • Point person for cross-functional projects
  • Lead detailed planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of cross-functional projects
  • Recognize and coordinate dependencies of cross-functional projects, ensuring coordination occurs early and often
  • Establish, maintain, and communicate plans for associated cross-functional projects
  • Communicate on behalf of engineering leads and other project team members when required
  • Hold team members accountable, set clear performance standards and goals, resolve performance issues, and keep teams engaged and on task
  • Coach scrum teams and peers on scrum best practices
  • Introduce new initiatives or concepts to the scrum teams
  • Can represent product development in audits and is able to demonstrate traceability and compliance with written procedures for all product development efforts and releases
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with regulated SaaS products and/or software-as-a-medical-device (SAMD)
  • Experience working with JIRA

A reasonable estimate of the yearly base compensation range is $91,000 to $147,000, cash bonus, and stock options
