Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Engineering, Computer Science, or Media and Broadcast Technology) or equivalent industry experience
  • Proven experience in technical sales in the M&E and broadcast technology industry or a related role, preferably in the live graphics vertical
  • Strong knowledge of live production, virtual studios, graphics systems, and related technologies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of sales processes
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel within the APAC region as required to meet with customers and attend international industry events

Responsibilities

  • Driving sales growth and expanding market presence for our graphics solutions tailored to the news and sports broadcasting industries
  • Provide technical solution and workflow expertise to the rest of the sales team
  • Be responsible for sales for designated accounts/countries mainly in South East Asia directly or through channel partners and systems integrators
  • Execute on a go to market strategy to achieve revenue targets, foster customer relationships, and capitalize on market opportunities in close cooperation with Chyron’s other departments
  • Understand customer needs, present solutions, and collaborate with the sales team to close deals
  • Be the main point of contact for technical discussions and work closely with customers to ensure their requirements are met
