Summary

Join Washing Systems, LLC (WSI), a Kao company, as a Technical Sales Representative (TSR)! This remote position focuses on providing technical solutions to commercial laundry clients, identifying sales opportunities through data analysis, and building strong customer relationships. The TSR will promote and sell the full product line, develop new accounts, maintain service levels, install and program equipment, and manage installations and conversions. Strong technical/mechanical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication are essential. Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree from four-year College/University in Business, Engineering, Mechanical, or related field and 1-2 yearsโ€™ industry related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and technical/mechanical skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, Internet and Order processing software
  • Ability to act quickly, accurately and handle a fast-paced work environment
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision and ability to adjust focus
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle, or feel, and talk or hear
  • At least 50% of time will be traveling to and from customers/plants
  • The plant environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell the full product line to all existing customers
  • Develop a key sales prospect list, establish relationships, and sell new customers
  • Maintain appropriate sales coverage in your territory
  • Deliver and maintain appropriate levels of service, maintenance, and communications for 6 โ€“ 10 accounts within your area
  • Install and programming WSI chemical dosing equipment to interface with the customers washing equipment
  • Lead the work of planning and executing new installations and/or conversions in your territory
  • Maintain all company provided equipment in proper working condition
  • Operate within the assigned expense budget
  • Collection of past due accounts receivable, where applicable
  • Eliminate rush orders of products
  • Submit all reports in a timely manner
