Training Specialist

Summary

Join Lightspeed as a Training Specialist and empower our sales team with the tools and training they need to excel. You will design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs on various topics, including product knowledge, CRM usage, and company policies. Collaborate with different teams to understand training needs and tailor content to diverse learning styles. Conduct both in-person and virtual training sessions, ensuring materials remain current and aligned with company goals. Work with enablement leaders to implement tools that enhance learning and performance. Flexibility in working hours is required to support global teams and project timelines.

Requirements

• Being a strong communicator who’s comfortable starting conversations and engaging with different teams
• Managing multiple projects and priorities at the same time in a fast-paced environment
• Taking initiative and working independently to drive tasks forward
• Adapting to flexible working hours when required by project timelines or team needs
• Creating and maintaining clear, well-organised documentation that others can easily follow

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver training programs—covering everything from product knowledge to CRM use and company policies
• Keep teams informed by sharing updates on process changes, new initiatives, and product or feature launches, and help make sure these changes are adopted smoothly
• Work closely with operations and other stakeholders to understand team performance and identify training needs—both for individuals and groups
• Tailor training content to suit different teams, roles, and learning styles
• Lead engaging in-person and virtual training sessions to ensure effective learning
• Make sure all training materials are current, relevant, and aligned with company goals and strategy
• Collaborate with enablement leaders to find and implement tools that improve learning, performance, and efficiency
• Be open to working flexible hours when needed to support global teams and project timelines
