Requirements

  • Proven experience in user acquisition and performance marketing in South Korea (3+ years minimum)
  • Deep knowledge of the Korean digital ecosystem, including local ad networks, platforms, trends, and user behaviors
  • Experience with managing and optimizing performance campaigns (CPA, CPL, CPI, ROAS)
  • Fluent in Korean and proficient in English (written and verbal)
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Ability to work independently and deliver clear, practical recommendations

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert consultation on how to successfully enter and grow in the Korean digital market
  • Identify and recommend the most effective marketing and acquisition channels (e.g., Kakao, Naver, YouTube, Instagram, Google, TikTok, etc.)
  • Advise on outreach strategies and media buying practices specific to South Korea
  • Support the setup and optimization of paid campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Share insights on local user behavior, creative localization, and A/B testing tactics that perform in Korea
  • Recommend tools, agencies, or partnerships relevant to the market
  • Deliver a roadmap with practical action items and KPIs for the internal team to execute

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in consulting, freelancing, or project-based advisory roles
  • Background in B2C mobile apps, gaming, e-commerce, or SaaS sectors
  • Familiarity with market entry strategy and cross-cultural marketing
