UX Researcher

Summary

Join Heard as a passionate User Researcher to contribute to improving the user experience for mental health providers and entrepreneurs. This part-time role (initially 10 hours/week) offers the potential for increased hours. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to conduct user research, analyze data, and translate findings into actionable insights. The ideal candidate possesses strong research skills, communication abilities, and a passion for mental health. Requirements

• 3+ years of user research experience, including surveys and focus group facilitation
• Basic operating knowledge of SQL and proficiency integrating UXR tools and systems with AWS
• Willingness to independently source and close deals within a short timeframe
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to independently manage your sales pipeline without micro-management
• Flexibility and comfort with evolving messaging and product offerings in a fast-growing environment
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Genuine interest in mental health and supporting professionals in the industry

Responsibilities

• Lead research efforts for the Heard community, including identifying and selecting appropriate surveys, experimentation, user interviews, and prototype testing
• Establish a robust research rhythm unifying quantitative and qualitative data to boost user retention and satisfaction
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) to refine research questions, recruit, and schedule participants for research studies
• Translate research findings into actionable insights (written summaries and presentations) for EPD and leadership to inform product development
• Demonstrate exceptional research skills and enthusiasm for experimentation, data, and systems thinking
