Summary

Join Making Waves Education Foundation as a paid intern and gain valuable hands-on experience in a supportive remote work environment. This part-time internship offers opportunities to explore various administrative projects, receive career development support, and network within the organization. The internship is open to current California college students with an interest in related fields. Interns will contribute to the growth and success of Making Waves' programs, working on a variety of projects. The hourly rate is $18-$21, and the position is 100% remote. Internship credit may be available.

Requirements

• Be a current college student located in California
• Major in, be interested in, have experience or related skills in a related field (note: all majors welcome)
• Have experience using Microsoft Word and email communications
• Have experience or be open to working collaboratively with others
• Possess good attention to detail and double-check your work
• Be organized and able to consistently meet deadlines and communicate updates related to projects
• Be able to work a set schedule during the work week
• Have experience using Zoom or other video/telephone software programs, working or completing coursework remotely

• Explore and learn across a range of administrative projects
• Receive career development support and reflections with Making Waves career specialists
• Gain exposure to other fields and networking opportunities across Making Waves
• Contribute to Making Waves program growth and success by working on a variety of projects
