UX Researcher

Summary

Join PrizePicks, a rapidly growing sports company, as a UX Researcher for a 3-month contract with potential extension! Partner with senior researchers to conduct qualitative research studies, including usability testing and interviews. Translate findings into actionable insights and communicate them effectively to stakeholders. This role requires 6+ months of UX research experience and a relevant bachelor's or higher degree. The position offers remote work anywhere in the US and is open to candidates authorized to work in the US.

Requirements

• 6+ months of relevant experience in UX Research, Design Research, or Human Factors Engineering
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Psychology, Human Factors, HCI, Anthropology, or related field
• Experience with qualitative research methods and proficiency with executing/moderating evaluative studies (e.g., usability testing)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with and influence stakeholders
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt, with the ability to incorporate feedback and demonstrate continuous growth and improvement
• Knowledge/experience with remote testing tools (e.g., dscout, UserTesting, UserZoom, etc.)
• You must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S

Responsibilities

• Partner with Lead UX Researcher to plan and execute research studies using a variety of qualitative methods including usability testing, in-depth interviews, concept testing, etc
• Develop research materials (e.g., discussion guides), recruit participants, moderate/facilitate research sessions, and synthesize research findings
• Translate research findings into actionable insights and strategic narratives through compelling storytelling and creative artifacts, reports, and read-outs
• Communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations clearly and effectively to key stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and engineers
