Velocity Account Executive

Summary

The job is for a Velocity Account Executive at Grafana Labs in the UK. The role involves driving both new business acquisition and existing customer growth, meeting quarterly and annual sales targets, forecasting business, growing and adopting Grafana Cloud, responding to incoming requests, partnering with cross-functional teams, becoming an expert in the product, managing quotes, orders, and day-to-day customer requests.

Requirements

• 1+ Years of Experience in Software Sales
• Demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement in a highly competitive environment (top 10% performer)
• Adaptable and with demonstrable experience in high velocity technology companies
• Experience using Salesforce
• Excellent communicator in all channels (in person, online, in writing) and able to form strong working relationships both in person and virtually
• Experience using Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC is ideal

Responsibilities

• Drive both new business acquisition and existing customer growth within your assigned book of business
• Close new business and maintain active engagements with current month to month customers that indicate a propensity to acquire our contract offering
• Meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual sales targets
• Accurately forecast business on a quarterly basis
• Spearhead the growth & adoption of Grafana Cloud through our month to month customer base
• Respond to and qualify incoming requests from our new upgrade and new trial cohorts
• Understand and convey the value of both Grafana Cloud Self-Serve and Contracted
• Partner with cross functional teams to share customer feedback
• Become an expert in our product and add value in every user interaction
• Manage quote creation, order processing, and day-to-day customer requests

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with OSS business model is preferred but not required
