Vice President of Finance & Accounting

Summary

Flowhub is seeking a VP of Finance and Accounting to join their team and assume a strategic role in the overall development and growth of the company. The VP will be responsible for financial administration and planning, including accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, legal, deal analysis and negotiations, banking and investor relationships, and driving private and institutional financing or liquidity events. They should have a strong background in interpreting and implementing Business Intelligence and Big Data, as well as experience in M&A activity.

Requirements

• BS in Accounting or Finance
• 10 -15 years of experience, preferably in operational finance roles in a technology company
• At least 3 years of management experience
• Track record of partnering with Executive Leadership to establish and track revenue goals
• Proven knowledge of federal and multi-state tax laws
• Exceptional accounting and finance skills
• Ability to hire, direct, coach, and lead team
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong Experience with M&A transactions
• Outstanding financial acumen blended with business partnership and leadership
• Outstanding knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific methods

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees the company's financial administration and planning
• Analyzes and presents financial reports in an accurate and timely manner
• Oversees and manages relationships with lending institutions and the financial community
• Actively influences company direction, growth, strategic planning, product development, financial forecasting, and Sr. Management Team
• Develops, implements, and monitors an effective, efficient internal control system
