Summary

Requirements
- C1/C2 English writing and speaking skills
- Native/Fluent Spanish writing and speaking skills (Spanish and English are required)
- At least 2 years of work experience in back-office and customer service roles
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Exceptional telephone manner & service-orientated email writing skills
- Ability to quickly learn how to use new tools and software
- A quiet home office with a desk and office chair
- Stable internet with at least 30 MBPS download & 3 MBPS upload speed
- A laptop/desktop with 8GB RAM, a 1.6GHz processor, and 50GB of free hard-drive space, and a smartphone
Responsibilities
- Input and update customer information in the client's agency management system
- Respond to customer emails, resolving simple queries or elevating complex cases
- Answer incoming phone calls (you'll be given a VoIP account to use from your laptop)
- Call carriers to gather information about customersβ insurance policies
- Issue binders, policies, and endorsements
- Process and revise draft insurance proposals or quotes
- Proofread documents for accuracy and completeness
- Create and maintain files according to policies and procedures guidelines
- Download policy documents and certificates and send to the required parties
- Call and email customers regarding notices of cancellations and renewals
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferably graduated with a university degree or graduating in the next 12 months (if you do not have a degree, you should have more extensive experience)
- Although not required, any insurance experience would be advantageous
