You will leverage your extensive sales experience (minimum 5 years hitting quotas in service/manufacturing) and strong network to develop new business within the manufacturing and distribution sector. You will be responsible for leading business development efforts, collaborating with the operations team, and hitting sales targets. Requirements
- Minimum of 5 consecutive years of hitting sales quotas within the service/manufacturing industry
- Hold deep relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and industry partners
- Effectively communicate ideas, strategies, and findings to potential and current clients, teams, and stakeholders
- Ability to overcome objectives and look for solutions that support the businessesβ needs and align them to SA services
- Ability to learn and articulate accounting and financial concepts to a non-technical audience
- Ability to use the nomenclature of the Manufacturing and Distribution world
- Effectively work in a remote/virtual setting, managing details, and working on daily tasks that lead to results
- Minimum of 7 years of sales/business development experience selling a service, with a strong focus on the manufacturing industry
- Proficiency and comfort in using HubSpot, G-Suite, Zoom, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales enablement tools
- PowerPoint skills β ability to modify existing templates with a basic rudimentary knowledge
Responsibilities
- Travel nationally to meet with referral partners, prospects, and clients
- Educate businesses on the value of ongoing fractional accounting and CFO business advisory services
- Lead business development efforts to identify and capture new market opportunities and strategic partnerships within the manufacturing and distribution sector
- Collaborate with operations team members and fellow sales professionals to deliver solutions to clients
- Coordinate with operations to make the most out of national events
- Close 12 to 15 new recurring engagements per year
- Adapt quickly to new situations, prioritize, and communicate proactively in a fast-paced environment
- Follow up with clients after the sale to provide valuable feedback to the operations team
- Orchestrate and manage the SA closing process, including working with operations to ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations
- Develop mutual respect, accountability, and value creation in client relationships
- Guide and motivate team members, manage conflicts, and foster a collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of manufacturing centric ERP systems
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing solutions, market dynamics and industry trends
