You will oversee all marketing aspects, including performance marketing, product marketing, lifecycle marketing, PR, content, and partnerships. You will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, penetration, and brand awareness, while collaborating cross-functionally to achieve business goals. Requirements

  • 10+ years of marketing leadership experience in growth stage DTC, home services or consumer tech industries
  • Proven ability to scale marketing spend while improving efficiency (CAC, LTV, ROAS)
  • Deep expertise in performance marketing, brand building, and lifecycle marketing
  • Experience collaborating with and enabling sales teams with high-impact marketing materials
  • Experience with data-driven decision-making and marketing analytics tools
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams
  • Exceptional storytelling ability with a customer-first mindset
  • A strategic thinker who can roll up their sleeves and execute when needed
  • Passion for outdoor living and an understanding of its benefits

Responsibilities

  • Own the customer acquisition strategy across paid media (Meta, Google, YouTube, etc.), organic, email/SMS, referral programs
  • Optimize marketing spend to maximize efficiency (CAC vs. LTV) while scaling customer acquisition
  • Implement rigorous testing frameworks (A/B, incrementality testing, etc.) to improve performance across channels
  • Partner with product and analytics teams to improve conversion rates (CRO)
  • Lead email, SMS, and CRM efforts to drive engagement, purchase, and referrals
  • Create and optimize nurture flows that guide customers from initial interest to project completion
  • Partner with product and sales teams to improve customer experience and retention
  • Develop compelling narratives that resonate with our target customers and differentiate Yardzen in the market
  • Oversee content strategy, PR, influencer partnerships, and organic social to deepen brand affinity
  • Identify and cultivate strategic brand partnerships that amplify Yardzen’s reach
  • Develop co-marketing initiatives with key industry players and home improvement brands
  • Engage with the Yardzen community to drive advocacy and word-of-mouth growth
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team
  • Collaborate with sales, product, design, and operations teams to drive business goals
  • Own marketing KPIs, forecasting, and reporting to inform executive decision-making
