Requirements

  • A proven success record in partnering and working cross-functionally to make things happen
  • Thorough knowledge of the market with an established relevant business network
  • Ability to be merchant-focused and willing and able to take smart risks based on solid strategy and deep customer understanding
  • Team management skills
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to solve tough problems
  • Strong negotiating skills with a proven track record
  • Fluent in English is a must
  • The ability to travel internationally

Responsibilities

  • Sell dLocalโ€™s payment solutions to e-commerce merchants and PSPs
  • Identify and implement new market development opportunities that contribute to the growth of dLocalโ€™s business
  • Identify opportunities to secure new business by establishing relationships with clients and prospects
  • Build, develop, and nurture long-term strategic partnerships with global merchants
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts
  • Maintain personal networks, participate in professional organizations, attend conferences and industry events, and develop other means of generating interest from potential clients
  • Collaborate with our global sales team as an APAC regional expert
  • Structure, implement, and manage growth-related operational strategies and processes
