Summary
Join Yubico, a leading security key company, as their VP of Commercial Sales. Reporting to the SVP of Sales, you will own the Commercial team, defining the go-to-market strategy, setting sales targets, and driving performance. You will build and scale the Commercial customer base, mentor a distributed sales team, and represent Yubico at industry events. This role requires 10+ years of experience building and leading sales teams with a proven track record of success in selling to Commercial customers. Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building and leading sales teams with at least 5-7+ years selling to Commercial customers
- Hypergrowth experience, scaling teams
- Deep understanding and experience in selling technology to Commercial customers
- Track record of overachievement in selling, in both direct sales and through partners and SI’s
- Comfortable having both business and high-level technical conversations with a CTO, CIO or CISO
- Deep knowledge of the SaaS industry
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute both short-term and long-term sales plans
- Strong planning, writing, presentation and communication skills
- ���Hunter” mindset with the ability to learn, adapt and improve constantly
Responsibilities
- Report directly into the SVP Sales with full ownership of the Commercial team
- Work closely with the GTM leadership team to define our go-to-market (GTM) strategy, setting sales targets, driving performance metrics within the Commercial market
- Define sales goals with leadership team and implement processes, infrastructure and hiring to drive revenue and large scale adoption of YubiKeys
- Provide coaching and support to the first line managers of their teams in representing Yubico
- Continue to build and scale the Commercial customers, focusing on recruiting and inspiring strong champions who actively advocate for Yubico
- Plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels, helping to steer deals personally as needed
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a distributed team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance
- Participate in regular company and office meetings to share Sales team progress, identify blockers and drive resolution
- Represent Yubico at industry events, conferences and networking functions to raise brand awareness and generate new business opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
- Identity Access Management (IAM) or Privilege Access Management (PAM) is a plus for this role though not required
- Ideally, understand the IT security marketplace
