As VP Sales, Public Sector, you will own the sourcing and procuring of net new federal agency contracts, overseeing successful implementations and transition to customer management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in sales or business development, with a minimum of 5 years in people leadership
  • Success in building public sector partnerships is required
  • Proven track record of success in selling complex solutions to government agencies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend industry events (25%)

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of account executives responsible for building partnerships with public sector organizations including state, local and federal government agencies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key government officials, agencies, and industry groups
  • Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments to assess potential impacts on the business
  • Represent the company in meetings, hearings, and conferences related to government affairs
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to secure government contracts and increase revenue
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions that meet government clients' needs
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing government clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of proposals and bids for government contracts
