Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of experience in sales operations, sales management, or a related field
- Proven track record in a leadership role overseeing teams and driving measurable outcomes
- Deep understanding of sales processes, CRM systems, and data analytics
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Expertise in sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data visualization platforms
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Execute on planning, reporting, sales process optimization, sales training and enablement, sales program implementation, sales compensation design and administration
- Be accountable for the timely assignment of all sales organization objectives
- Partner with senior sales leadership to identify opportunities for sales process improvement. Facilitate successful implementation of new programs through the sales organization by ensuring a well-defined, efficient sales process is in place for launch. Foster an organization of continuous process improvement
- Direct the delivery of an effective and efficient client renewal program that expands client relationships and secures future revenue
- Oversee the program management of the company-wide cross sell program and delivery of corresponding target results
- Ensure specific sales pursuits have a custom sales strategy tailored to the needs and goals of the given prospective client
- Prioritize investments in enabling technologies in support of sales organization productivity. Work closely with the CRO and across the Executive team to understand the organizations Sales and Product strategy. Recommend enhancements to the sales process and customer support relationships to streamline and improve customer acquisition and retention process
- Work closely with senior sales leadership to define the optimal performance measurements and performance management programs required to ensure sales organization success. Align reporting, training, and incentive programs with these performance management priorities
- Ensure sales reports and other internal intelligence is provided to the sales organization. Develop new reporting tools as needed. Coordinate with sales leadership and other stakeholders to lead efficient and accurate sales force reporting initiatives
- Working with Finance and senior sales leadership, partner with CRO to design sales incentive compensation programs that provide market-competitive pay, reinforce sales organization strategy, and align with business and sales organization objectives
- Establish sales compensation program rules, policies, and procedures. Work closely with Accounting, Finance, and Human Resources to establish rules, policies, and procedures associated with sales compensation
- Direct and support the consistent implementation of go-to-market and company initiatives
- Play a lead role for the integration of the sales teams, systems and processes of acquired organizations
- Be a visible member within the organization as a key representative of the Revenue team and a champion for its success
