Summary

Join AlphaSense's expanding Financial Services Sales team as a dynamic and ambitious new business sales professional specializing in Financial Markets. This role involves driving sales of AlphaSense's acclaimed product, which is gaining rapid global traction. You will own the end-to-end sales process, focusing on hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks, and sell-side research departments. The successful candidate will be a highly accomplished SaaS sales professional with 4+ years of experience in the Financial Services sector, possessing strong communication, technical, and consultative selling skills. The role is based remotely in Ireland and reports to the Vice President of Sales, EMEA.

Requirements

  • Have 4+ years of SaaS sales experience, excelling in value-based, consultative roles, with a focus on Financial Services
  • Ideally engage end-user personas like Analysts, Associates, and Portfolio Managers, thriving in a hunter role and consistently exceeding high quotas
  • Thrive in a startup environment, managing competing priorities with a β€˜never give up’ attitude
  • Uncover business challenges at all organizational levels, welcome feedback, and seek constant improvement through AlphaSense's training programs
  • Leverage modern sales processes and tech stacks, excel in conducting technical demos, and manage multiple trials
  • Skillfully convey the value of our AI-driven insights, ensuring stakeholders across diverse audiences understand the transformative impact of our solutions on their business operations and strategic decision-making processes
  • Understand the Financial Services landscape, recognizing client challenges on both the buy-side and sell-side

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end sales process in your territory, focusing on hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks, and sell-side research departments
  • Collaborate with Sales Development representatives to research, prospect, and cultivate relationships using consultative selling, uncovering new business opportunities
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations that address client needs and highlight AlphaSense’s value propositions
  • Manage complete product trials in collaboration with Product Specialists to ensure smooth client adoption and conversion
  • Drive towards ambitious sales targets by precisely forecasting and maintaining a robust pipeline to consistently meet or exceed quotas
  • Facilitate communication between clients, prospects, and internal teams, gathering feedback to drive product improvements and strategic sales initiatives
