Summary

Join Newsweek as an Account Manager and become the primary point of contact for US customers, ensuring seamless campaign execution and fostering strong relationships. The position is hybrid, requiring weekly in-office presence at our New York City office. The salary range is $80,000-$100,000, commensurate with experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years in account management or customer success in a digital ad agency or publisher side experience
  • Proven track record of managing and launching successful campaigns
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Strong project management skills, working across multiple business units
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Pre-Sales team on proposal recommendations, especially renewals, to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction
  • Research and analyze market trends and competitors and provide insights and recommendations to management
  • Advise on all other sales efforts, proposals, custom ideas, and opportunities across the team
  • Ensure all opportunities in HubSpot are thoroughly completed and up to date
  • Manage and coordinate the launch of campaigns once closed-won, ensuring all processes are executed smoothly
  • Secure all necessary assets required for the Campaign Operations team to launch campaigns
  • Monitor the progress of all teams involved in setting up and launching campaigns to guarantee timely execution
  • Own all day-to-day communication with customers post closed won, maintaining transparency and responsiveness
  • Manage and address all ad hoc customer requests and garner internal operational resources to exceed the customer needs
  • Partner with Campaign Operations to ensure all customer requests are executed and resolved efficiently
  • Monitor campaign pacing and performance (P&P) to ensure KPIs and goals are being met, collaborating with Ad Operations to address any issues
  • Identify and understand opportunities for incremental budget increases through upselling or cross-selling
  • Analyze and interpret campaign insights to effectively communicate success stories and opportunities to customers
  • Develop and present comprehensive wrap-up decks to customers, highlighting campaign performance and outcomes
  • Assist sellers in renewal conversations, leveraging campaign performance and insights
  • Coordinate final month-end reports with Ad Operations for accurate billing, including both first party (1P) and third party (3P) numbers
