Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives
  • Experience in the life sciences, pharmaceutical or clinical research industry/products
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the Company
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture strong professional networks and appropriately leverage contacts to establish and/or maintain business
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and ensure their satisfaction with Xogene’s products/services. Handle client needs in a timely and professional manner
  • Address client queries and concerns, serving as their advocate within Xogene to deliver and support solutions aligned with their expectations
  • Proactively engage clients to understand their goals and pain points, and position Xogene as a trusted partner
  • Manage and grow existing accounts by understanding client needs and proposing appropriate solutions
  • Regularly review client performance metrics to demonstrate ROI and identify expansion opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product support, project management) to develop tracking systems, presentations, and reports that help ensure client satisfaction and resolve any issues
  • Conduct market research to understand broader pain points, industry trends, and competitive landscape
  • Effectively communicate account status, activities, progress, priorities, to VP’s and Co-Founders
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligning them with company objectives
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and bi-annual forecasts)
  • Attend industry conferences and expand brand awareness to help create sales opportunities with new and existing clients
