Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing or related field (Preferred, equivalent experience may satisfy requirement)
  • 3-5 Years of Account Management, Business Development or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Protect the Follow-On Core Accounts
  • Manage assigned accounts, build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships that are strategically beneficial to both parties. Know customer’s organization and key contacts, to include who are the decision makers and influencers
  • Collaboratively work with the client to refine requirements to ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to the customer needs and objectives
  • Actively promote services and support opportunities that can expand customer growth
  • Assure Customer Satisfaction. Be the Primary Liaison between customer and site Functional Leads in terms of communication of product cost, delivery schedule, performance, and other related information and deliverables
  • Oversee the timely resolution of any identified or reported Customer Account issues. Lead any direct communication with the Customer in respect to issue resolution or mediation
  • Schedule regular Program Management Reviews with Customer Accounts. Work closely with site Functional Leads to acquire accurate program data to support the review
  • Proactively provide data to assist Quality Management and Contracts to support favorable Customer Account Scorecards and CPARs
  • Forecast and track Key Account metrics; On Time Delivery, Extension Requests, Warranty Returns, Quality and Customer Satisfaction. Provide Customer with pertinent weekly account status updates
  • Update customer accounts forecasted financial revenue monthly. Provide risks and opportunities to support customer account financial forecasts. Provide customer account financial forecast inputs, to support next year projections
  • Work with site Functional Leads to acquire accurate data of customer accounts, to inform and assure Leadership has a firm understanding of the current state of customer accounts
  • Assess process gaps relating to bid losses or changes in customer requirement to determine root causes and solutions
  • Consult with Business Development Team to identify and vet new business opportunities within assigned or new accounts; provide liaison with site personal on existing or closely aligned technological capabilities. Provide key customer account or product metrics in support of planned BD customer meetings. Offer and participate in planned BD Customer interactions, as capabilities subject matter expert
  • Advise site Sustainment and Engineering Team’s where required, in the support of continuous improvement projects that could beneficially impact customer account product offerings
  • Develop pricing for items that are pending or not listed in the current product catalog. Update product catalog yearly
