Accountant

Summary

Join Believe, a leading digital music company, as an Accounts Payable Specialist! You will verify and process invoices, maintain payment files, and generate checks. Responsibilities include creating month-end reports, resolving payment issues, and ensuring timely responses to queries. You will also assist with document handling, demonstrate leadership, and provide excellent customer service. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, prior AP experience, and experience with automated invoice systems. Experience in a large, international accounting department is also needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor or equivalent
• Prior Accounts Payable (AP) experience
• Experience working with Automated invoice systems (Basware will be a great advantage)
• Experience in a large and international accounting department
• Ability to multi-task, meet firm deadlines, proactively prioritize needs and effectively manage priorities

Responsibilities

• Create and act on month-end accounts payable reports
• Receive invoices, checking necessary validations and execute transactions with timeliness
• Resolve issues, serve as a resource in troubleshooting complex matters and ensure that queries are responded to in a timely manner
• Help in handling documents
• Demonstrate leadership skills and develop new employees
• Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders, including vendors, facilities and colleagues
• Ensure company policies, processes, and procedures are clearly defined, updated and documented

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SAGE and BASWARE will be a strong advantage
• Experience in automated industry business will be a preference
• Ability to have a great adaptation spirit
• Good knowledge of French and English will be considered as an advantage
• Advanced Excel skills
