Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA certification preferred
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software, NetSuite, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper documentation and recording of financial transactions
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights and recommendations
• Support the Controller in preparing financial reports, audits, and tax filings
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support business initiatives
• Participate in the implementation and improvement of financial systems and processes
