Accounting Manager

Summary

Join HeyGen as our Accounting Manager and play a key role in accounting, audit, and tax functions for a rapidly growing GenAI startup. You will manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, perform month-end closing processes, and contribute to the annual audit. This position offers the opportunity to standardize and centralize tasks, improve accounting operations, and collaborate with external parties. You'll work closely with the Head of Finance and have potential for growth within the company. Requirements

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience. Having both startup and public accounting experience is a plus
• Have a BA/BS or equivalent in accounting or related field; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
• An enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality
• Have a history of process improvements for accounting operations
• Have the ability to articulate accounting needs to non-accountants
• Ability to be flexible and comfortable with changing requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform month end accounting processes to support rapid global growth
• Own all aspects of AR and AP, including billing and invoicing
• Potential to perform month end activities and grow into other task and process to take on further responsibilities
• Be a self starter and seek to standardize and centralize tasks
• Assist in the annual audit and help coordinate with tax and other outside parties

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a high growth B2B SaaS business, with bonus points for self-serve models
• Experience with SQL
