Accounting Manager

Summary

Join Western Digital and lead the global customer master record creation process. Manage the daily operations of customer master setup, supporting Business Operations and Sales Operations teams. Collaborate closely with various teams, including Revenue Accounting and Reporting, BU Finance, Sales Operations, Trade Compliance, and IT. Manage customer reporting hierarchies and key attributes for financial reporting, accounting, and compliance. This role requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in customer master management and revenue/accounting roles within high-tech industries. Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in customer master manager roles and revenue/accounting roles in high tech or similar industries
• Advanced Excel skills and analytics aptitude required
• Experience in managing global offshore resources
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Responsibilities

• Manage a team and own the global process for the customer master record creation
• Managing the day to day operations of customer master set up to support Business Operations and Sales Operations teams
• Work closely with Revenue Accounting and Reporting teams and business partners from BU Finance, Sales Operations, Trade Compliance and IT teams
• Manage customer reporting hierarchies, key attributes for financial reporting and accounting and for compliance purposes
