Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting/finance role
- 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in an accounting department
- Strong knowledge of AP processes, general accounting principles, and internal controls
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g.,NetSuite, Ramp)
- Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments
- Lead, train, and support AP staff to meet departmental goals and deadlines
- Maintain and update vendor records; resolve payment inquiries and discrepancies promptly
- Administer T&E policies; review & approve employee expense reports for compliance
- Identify and execute enhancements to streamline AP processes and increase team efficiency
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare AP-related JEs and reconciliations; support the financial close process
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation and filing of 1099s and other tax documents
- Provide documentation and support external audits
- Oversee AP systems and tools; collaborate with IT and finance teams on system updates and integrations
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of tax regulations, vendor management, and financial reporting may be a plus
