Join our team as an Accounts Payable Associate and contribute to the accurate and timely processing of payments and bookkeeping tasks for both internal and external accounts. Requirements
- Bachelorβs Degree in Economics (Accounting)
- 2-3 years of accounting experience
- Prior experience in accounts payable (or accounts receivable)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Experience with accounting software and online platforms
- Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities
- Record vendor invoices and allocate intercompany as needed
- Research and solve payment discrepancies with vendor credits
- Provide supporting documents for internal and external audits
- Review, verify and enter invoices along with proper workflow approvals
- Keep good communication with vendors to help maintain solid relationships
- Assist with month end closing including posting transactions to ledgers and journals and analysis of accounts invoice filing and maintenance - look at what sold from inventory
- Enter Inventory invoices
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Receive vendor packets for new vendors
- Vendor credit handling & actively flagging slow moving inventory to the appropriate person
- Monitor and report aging for accounts payable
