Accounts Payable Specialist

Summary

Join Kairos Power as a Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist for approximately 4 months! This role involves daily accounting processes and procedures, working under the guidance of the Manager, Accounts Payable. You will enter and review invoices, verify expense reports, assist with vendor payments, and maintain accurate vendor information. The ideal candidate possesses an Associate's degree in accounting or a related field, 1+ years of relevant experience, and strong attention to detail. This is a collaborative role requiring adaptability and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment. Requirements

• Associate’s degree, preferably in accounting or a related field
• 1+ years of accounts payable or related experience
• Willing to seek clarification and ask questions
• Adaptable and flexible in fast-paced environments, adjusting to shifting priorities
• High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision
• Ability to work with highly collaborative team
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently

Responsibilities

• Enter and review invoices in Coupa for accuracy and timeliness
• Verify travel and expense report compliance
• Assist in preparing and executing weekly vendor payment batches
• Maintain accurate vendor information in the procurement system
• Actively engage in continuous learning opportunities and contribute to team discussions
• Gain proficiency in accounting operations software, including NetSuite and Coupa
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in the accounting system
• Analyze and explain monthly fluctuations in account balances
