Requirements
- 3-4 years of full-cycle accounts receivable experience, including processing income sources, recording, matching, and reconciling
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Desktop, with experience in giving platforms like Planning Center, Shelby, Subsplash, or Pushpay
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and ability to communicate effectively with teams, ministry partners, and donors
- Demonstrate initiative in identifying and resolving discrepancies, streamlining processes, and ensuring accounts payable operations run smoothly and efficiently
- Has experience working remotely
- Has a heart for serving the church, loves Jesus, and is excited to grow the capital βCβ church
Responsibilities
- Process, record, match, and reconcile all income sources, including donations, payments, and other receivables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Proficiently work with platforms such as Planning Center, Shelby, Subsplash, and Pushpay to track and record income for ministry partners
- Regularly reconcile accounts, ensuring all receivables align with financial records and resolving discrepancies efficiently
- Provide customized accounts receivable services to ministries outsourcing their financial operations, ensuring their unique needs are met
- Keep detailed and up-to-date records of income, donor data, and financial transactions, ensuring compliance with organizational standards
- Collaborate with the finance team to provide accurate accounts receivable data for monthly and annual reporting
- Support the rollout and implementation of new systems, processes, or giving platforms to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Work closely with other Kingdom One teams to integrate accounts receivable processes with other financial, HR, and operational functions
- Adhere to accounting principles, organizational policies, and relevant regulations while processing income and managing accounts
- Recommend enhancements to accounts receivable workflows to support better outcomes for Kingdom One and its partner ministries
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates degree or certification in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Familiarity with databases (e.g., Church Community Builder, ROCK) and platforms like Stripe or Sage
