Summary
Join Turnitin as a Corporate Account Manager and manage a portfolio of non-EDU customers in North America's corporate and government sectors. Your objective will be to maximize customer value by nurturing relationships, expanding into new departments and contacts, and generating new business. You will build and maintain relationships at all organizational levels, from executives to department heads. This role also involves expanding Turnitin's revenue through existing and new product offerings. This is a remote position with minimal travel. Turnitin offers a competitive compensation package and a remote-centric culture.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree required
- Strong experience in an account/relationship management or similar role
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills
- Excellent problem solving and time management skills
- Proven ability to work effectively with a team
- Self-starter and motivated passionate personality that thrives in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Manage contract renewals and new business growth within existing corporate and government (non-edu) accounts in North America
- Build, and execute, proactive account plans in order to: Identify opportunities for your customers to expand and increase the value they obtain from our services and define actions to utilize these opportunities
- Identify risks for your customers that could jeopardize the value they obtain from our services and define actions to mitigate these risks
- Be creative and proactive in ways to communicate to your customers to make sure your portfolio is constantly positively informed of the capabilities Turitin can offer
- Communicate and collaborate effectively across all internal teams
- Document account needs and feedback, and share with sales leadership
- Maintain a high-level of CRM hygiene
- Ensure that accurate monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts are provided to your manager
- Understand and follow key educational trends and legislation in territory and use this knowledge to identify opportunities for yourself and the wider team
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience selling in into public sector
- Possesses an understanding of research processes in government, research, and/or NGO organizations
