Associate Bookkeeper

Requirements

• Highly proficient skills in bookkeeping
• 3+ years of paid experience in a bookkeeper role for a small business
• Active QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification
• Minimum of one year of experience working with QuickBooks Online
• Online proficiency with technology; solid knowledge of computer software
• Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
• Continuous improvement mindset and the ability to adapt to changing demands
• Highly analytical, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Provide monthly and quarterly bookkeeping services for clients by reviewing, categorizing, and reconciling transactions
• Meet highly efficient deadlines and have the ability to quickly process all client work per our service agreement
• Communicate with team members to summarize month-end closing to ensure books are complete in a timely manner. Maintain detailed notes and documents in client files for continuity of service
• End-to-end bookkeeping on a monthly and quarterly basis for 30-45 clients each monthly and/or quarterly closing cycle
• Record day-to-day financial transactions for accounts receivable (A/R)
