Summary

Axios is hiring an Associate Director of Client Success to support their East Coast-based advertising team. This role requires 7+ years of experience in account management within the digital media/news industry, with at least 2 years managing a team. The position involves leading and executing campaigns across various teams, delivering best-in-class client experiences, and supporting media planning activities.

Requirements

• 7+ years in account management, specifically in the digital media/news industry
• 2+ years in managing an account management or revenue team
• Agile and adaptable in managing multiple complex campaigns simultaneously while meeting all deadlines and exceeding client expectations
• History of building and maintaining strong relationships and orchestrating effective communication across a myriad of internal and external stakeholders
• In-depth knowledge of digital media, online marketing technology, and Axios’ competitive landscape
• Ability to lead and communicate effectively on client calls not limited to kick-off calls, reporting and weekly campaign management calls
• Confident in making data-driven campaign optimization recommendations
• Ability to think critically, prioritize, problem solve, and offer effective solutions
• Outstanding communication, organization, and project management skills with obsessive attention to detail
• Exceptional customer service and commercial instincts
• Growth mindset and enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Responsibilities

• Lead account management for new and existing strategic accounts
• Deliver best-in-class, turnkey client experiences from kickoff to wrap
• Work with multiple cross-functional teams on a wide range of campaigns across the Axios product suite
• Support media planning, proposals, and renewal activities
