Summary

The job posting is for a Billing/Insurance Clerk to work directly with healthcare staff at Crossroads Health Center. Responsibilities

• Communication skills to converse clearly over the telephone and in person
• Attention to detail to schedule patients correctly and communicate scheduling difficulties with providers
• Collecting and posting patient and insurance payments
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding denials and working appeals
• Verify insurance
• Claim Submission

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of CPT billing codes and ICD-10 codes is a plus
