Brand Designer

Summary

Join Zora, a company building the next generation social app, as a Brand Designer. You will be a key player in creating impactful motion graphics for various platforms, from marketing campaigns to in-product experiences. Leveraging your skills in motion design and animation, you will contribute to the evolution of the brand identity and develop reusable assets. Close collaboration with the Art Director, Design Director, and Head of Brand is essential. This role requires a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles and mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects and Figma. Experience in brand identity, motion, and 3D design is crucial.

Requirements

• 3-4+ years of experience in brand identity, motion and 3D design, with a particular focus on motion graphics
• Strong portfolio and reel showcasing a broad range of styles and capabilities executed to a high degree of quality and impact
• Ability to conceptualize and execute projects quickly and effectively, consistently applying feedback and direction to keep projects moving toward completion
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (especially After Effects) as well as Figma

Responsibilities

• Work closely with and consistently take direction and feedback from the Art Director and Design Director on the team, with oversight from the Head of Brand
• Create and deliver polished final motion designs and elements for campaigns, social content, landing pages, emails, in-product, and more
• Contribute to the evolution and documentation of core visual elements of the brand identity, especially for motion elements and expressions
• Develop and maintain a library of reusable motion templates and 3D assets
• Cultivate a curiosity and understanding of the product in order to know how to effectively communicate and express various product features for marketing
• Design immersive visuals that elevate the brand’s identity and connect with diverse audiences online and across the globe
• Stay ahead of design and animation tools and emerging technologies to keep our visuals fresh and inventive

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledgeable with tools like Cinema 4D or Blender
