Summary

The Business Development Manager will identify and develop strategic partnerships to grow WatchGuard's Alternate Route to Market business. The role requires experience in network/cyber security space, two-tier/channel sales ecosystem, and OEM/technology integrations. The position offers a base salary range of $140,000 - $160,000 with potential commissions up to 30% of on target earnings.

Requirements

  • Experience with two-tier/channel sales ecosystem required
  • Experience with OEM/technology integrations
  • Experience in network/cyber security space required
  • History of consistent plan development and quota achievement
  • Strong presentation and written skills
  • Ability to self-manage and work remotely
  • Located in assigned territory preferred
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Fluent in the English language

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to grow WatchGuard’s Alternate Route to Market business
  • Develop strategic plans and pitches to potential strategic partnerships
  • Partner with Technical Director of Business Development to manage existing partners and generate new alternate routes to market opportunities
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and potential strategic partners
  • Maintain regular contact with assigned strategic partners to ensure satisfaction and continued success
  • Accurately forecast and track strategic partner activities and transactions by quarter
  • Regularly report on partner performance, pipeline development, and revenue generating activities for each assigned strategic partner

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in direct and indirect sales in related industry
  • International business development / sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in business, sales, or marketing
