Join Acquia's sales team as a Business Development Representative (BDR) and be the first point of contact for new prospects, engaging in conversations to understand their needs and present suitable Acquia solutions. You will create new revenue opportunities by educating leads about open source, digital transformation, and Acquia's offerings. This role involves high-volume prospecting, qualifying leads, collaborating with account executives and marketing, and achieving quarterly quotas. You'll need a proven record of high achievement, superb communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor's degree and 0-3 years of related experience are required. Prior sales experience and familiarity with Salesforce are beneficial.

  • Professional acumen
  • 0-3 years of related experience, bachelors degree required

Responsibilities

  • Create new revenue opportunities by educating our inbound leads and prospects about open source, digital transformation and Acquia
  • Conduct high volume prospecting (50-60 calls, emails or Tweets per day) to qualify leads and prospects
  • Qualify prospects' needs and effectively map them to Acquia's offerings
  • Work closely with account executives and marketing to implement strategy and process
  • Become an industry expert and develop product mastery
  • Consistently achieve (and exceed!) quarterly quotas and goals
  • Conduct yourself professionally and cast Acquia in a positive light

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior sales experience with a demonstrated ability to exceed quota
  • Prior experience in a rapidly growing technology company
  • Experience using Salesforce, and other sales productivity tools
