Join One Model as a Business Development Representative (BDR) and contribute to the company's expansion in the Asia Pacific market. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will generate new business opportunities, primarily with large enterprises and rapidly growing companies. Success in this role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, strong technical skills, and relationship-building abilities. You will prospect and qualify leads, cultivate relationships with stakeholders, and identify customer needs. The role also involves providing weekly updates, utilizing innovative communication strategies, and offering feedback to improve products. Based in Australia (preferably Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne), this position offers a competitive salary and benefits.
Requirements
- Based in Australia ( preferably Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne )
- 1+ year of successful outbound sales experience-what defines success is up to you, but be ready to prove it! Bonus points if youβve sold to large enterprises
- Successful track record in a sales or business development role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Entrepreneurial approach to generating new meetings for sales teams
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales enablement tools to manage and track leads, opportunities, and activities
- A problem solver with the ability to proactively multitask & manage multiple customer accounts
- Strong research skills to identify and qualify potential leads, understanding their business needs, challenges, and decision-making processes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changes, and quickly learn about new industries and technologies
- Collaborative mindset with the capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product teams
- Growth-minded, energetic personality with a good sense of humor
Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify new sales opportunities, striving for a 8x funnel target
- Cultivate relationships with various external stakeholders meeting our business standards to book new meetings for sales representatives successfully
- Identify and comprehend prospects' challenges and requirements, aligning them with the value and features of One Model's offerings
- Work to ensure that booked meetings become held meetings and follow up with contacts who failed to show up for a meeting
- Provide weekly updates on sequenced prospects as well as meetings booked and held through CRM tools, contributing actively to team and management discussions
- Utilize innovative technologies and creative strategies to communicate effectively with prospects
- Stay informed about trends and issues within HR technologies and people analytics
- Offer constructive feedback to product management and marketing teams to enhance products and create additional value for customers
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling an HCM, other HR software, or Analytics/BI solution an asset preferred
