Requirements
- Proven experience as an Inside Sales Representative or in a similar sales role, preferably in a B2B environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with a track record of successfully building a sales pipeline
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual who thrives in a target-driven sales environment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track activities, and analyze sales data
- Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and embrace new sales techniques and strategies
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels, including outbound calls, emails, and social media platforms
- Conduct preliminary research and needs analysis to understand customers’ requirements and tailor sales strategies accordingly
- Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and value propositions to prospects to generate interest and secure sales appointments
- Actively follow up with leads and prospects to nurture relationships
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for sales qualified leads and booked demos to effectively build a sales pipeline
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales campaigns, promotions, and initiatives to maximize sales potential
- Utilize CRM software to track and manage sales activities, document customer interactions, and provide accurate sales forecasts
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors’ offerings to effectively position our products or services
- Continuously develop sales skills and product knowledge through training, workshops, and self-learning to enhance sales performance
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events, if required
- 1+ year Life Sciences / Clinical Trials / Pharma / EDC experience; familiarity with the roles of a sponsor, CRA and Investigator; an EDC system; and ICH-GCP
