Summary
Join Highlight, a product intelligence platform, as a Business Development Representative (BDR) and play a key role in sales efforts by identifying and engaging prospective customers. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Revenue Operations and involves managing inbound and outbound lead generation, implementing sales strategies, using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Hubspot CRM, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams. You will execute outbound campaigns, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, 1-2 years of outbound sales experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a remote environment. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related area
- 1-2 years in outbound-focused sales (SDR/BDR)
- Curious, resourceful, and energized by solving problems and learning quickly
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal, with an ability to tailor your message to your audience
- Organized and self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment
- Collaborative team player who enjoys cross-functional work with sales, marketing, and leadership
Responsibilities
- Manage both inbound and outbound lead generation efforts to grow the sales pipeline
- Learn and implement our sales development playbook and begin prospect outreach within your first week
- Use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Zoominfo to extract contacts and build accurate, targeted prospect lists
- Execute outbound campaigns using email, phone, and social channels, utilizing tools such as LinkedIn, Hubspot CRM, etc
- Collaborate with the Sr. Manager, Revenue Operations to continuously refine sales strategies and approaches
- Partner with marketing to provide insights and optimize funnel conversation across all touchpoints
- Maintain accurate records of activity, contacts, and accounts in Hubspot and other sales tools
- Contribute to our team culture of learning and continuous improvement by welcoming feedback and sharing ideas
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in sales or outreach-heavy roles preferred
- Experience at a high-growth SaaS company
- Experience working with market research or consumer insights teams
- Experience selling to enterprise CPG companies
- Familiarity with Hubspot CRM
