Summary
Join Kpler, a leading provider of global trade information, as a Business Development Representative (BDR) focused on growing existing accounts and acquiring new clients in North America. You will map key contacts, develop communication campaigns, generate leads through various channels, qualify opportunities, and collaborate with the sales team. This role requires a minimum of two years of BDR experience in a B2B SaaS/Tech company, ideally within the Maritime/Shipping/Logistics sector. Requirements
- +2 years of experience as a Business Development Representative (BDR) prospecting and qualifying leads in a B2B SaaS/Tech company ideally targeting the Maritime/Shipping/Logistics sector across North America
- Fluent English
- You must have the right to work and live in the US. Sponsorship is not provided
Responsibilities
- Map out key contacts and teams at our existing customer accounts, identifying opportunities to grow our reach in conjunction with Account Managers
- Craft and execute communication campaigns that convey the value of Kpler to new contacts within our account base, bringing creativity to your approach when needed
- Develop leads in New Logo accounts through cold calling, cold emailing, and networking using tools like Zoom info, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Outreach.io
- Qualify business opportunities using the BANT methodology
- Use your natural curiosity to understand new contactβs challenges, needs, and current environment
- Concisely explain to contacts where we can help, and convert newly interested leads into sales opportunities for the Account Managers
- Meet weekly with the sales team to share progress and plan the strategy
- Update the CRM Platform (Salesforce) with relevant and precise information about clients, prospects, leads, and qualified opportunities
- Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales targets
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach.io, and Salesforce CRM
- Spanish
- Experience with the BANT methodology
- Experience in researching, mapping, and prospecting accounts
- Confident in communicating over the phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Someone who enjoys empathizing with customers and building relationships quickly with new people
- Self-disciplined and motivated to over-achieve your goals
- A team player with a commercial and solution-focused mindset
- Ability to analyze complex client requirements and needs
